With more than 30 years of experience in technology, project management, and business operations, I’ve spent my career managing complex projects, coordinating stakeholders, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful outcomes.
But it was my personal experience as a homeowner that truly inspired MyBuildGuard.

Through building five new residential properties and managing renovations and improvements to other properties, I gained a firsthand understanding of the challenges and pitfalls homeowners routinely face.
I experienced the same uncertainties, frustrations, and difficult decisions that so many homeowners go through — from understanding construction terminology, to evaluating contractor recommendations, managing budgets and schedules, and dealing with unexpected issues.
Even with decades of project management experience, I found that navigating residential construction can be challenging. That made me realize how overwhelming it can be for someone going through it for the first time.

Building or renovating a home is often one of the largest financial and emotional investments a person will make. Yet homeowners frequently find themselves navigating unfamiliar processes, technical details, and competing priorities with limited independent guidance.
My goal is to help homeowners approach construction and renovation projects with greater understanding, confidence, and peace of mind.
